1 Corinthians 14 – Love Order and The Word of God – (Chris Barnes)

Chapter 14 returns to unpack what the 'way of love' (14:1) in the church gathering looks like – using two gifts to illustrate: tongues and prophecy. Three divisive issues are dealt with along the way: tongues, prophecy, and the silence of women mentioned in v34-35.  But the big focus is not these issues: it is good order, what edifies, and accepting the authority of God and his Word.
