About our Church
Baranduda Community Church is part of a network of independent evangelical churches, known as FIEC (fiec.org.au). We don't belong to a particular denomination, but rather seek to be the community of followers of Jesus that he has called us to be.
Being evangelical simply means we believe the good news about the reality of Jesus (the 'evangel') is the most important news to know, understand, and live by.
Baranduda Community Church began in 2000 when God lead some locals and a group of graduates from Bible College of Victoria began meeting together in the Community Centre. Over the years we have been involved in the community in lots of ways - providing music and song for the local Christmas Carols, providing education for parents around raising children, being involved in community days, providing RE for local schools, providing opportunities for people to hear the good news about Jesus, and lots more!
