About our Church

Baranduda Community Church is a great community to belong to, where we encourage one another to learn about Jesus and learn to live for Jesus.

What to Expect
Each week we get together to learn from the bible, sing and pray, and hear from others. We love to hang out together and chat and encourage each other. ​We love helping families teach their kids about Jesus, and wecloming new people.

We are part of a network of churches, known as FIEC (fiec.org.au).

History

Baranduda Community Church began in 1999 when some locals and a group of graduates from Bible College of Victoria began meeting together in the Community Centre. Over the years we have been involved in the community in lots of ways providing opportunities for people to hear the good news about Jesus, and lots more!

Church Pastor

Chris Barnes is the Pastor of Baranduda Community Church. He is married to Kathy, and they have 3 children.

Chris was a secondary school teacher for 12 years, which included supporting student wellbeing.  Chris has studied at Ridley College and RTC, and has been part of reachaustralia.com.au.
